Location is one of the biggest factors home buyers consider when looking for a property. But real estate listings and sales data can only give you a limited
amount of information about a suburb.

The apps listed below each provide different information and combined together; they can give you a well-rounded overview of a certain area.

This is a great way to establish how close the property is to all the essentials as well as any luxuries that would be an added bonus. Get the AroundMe app here.

Planning Alerts

Planning Alerts is a website that looks at council websites and alerts you if a property nearby has a planning application. They have also created a plugin for the Layar app so that while you are in the area, you can simply point your phone at various properties and it will show you if any have planning applications in place.
