State Custodians was proud to be a part of another great fundraising event supporting the charity CLAN (Caring & Living As Neighbours). Be sure to watch the video below showing what fun we all had at this “THE BIG NIGHT OUT”.

Lots of musicians showcased their talent on the night, as did footy legend Nathan Hindmarsh who helped auction off the celebrity sports items and judge the State Custodians Yo-Yo Competition!

The next fundraising event for CLAN is the Rainforest Ramble which will traverse 20kms of the Illawarra escarpment under the glorious canopy of the natural rainforest. For those avid walkers that were involved in the Jervis Bay Walk – this is a MUST DO!

When: 10 to 12 August, 2012.

Where: Mt Keira Scout Camp, Mt Keira. Meeting on the evening of Friday 10 August. It is suggested that you arrive between 3 pm and 6pm to set up camp and get ready to catch up with the other walkers. A sausage sizzle will be served and drinks will be available for purchase. If you do not wish to camp there are plenty bunks available in camp dorms. All you need is a sleeping bag.

Walk Details

Day 1 (Saturday 11 August) This will cover approximately 20 km’s through Illawarra’s rainforest, arriving back at camp mid-afternoon. As with all CLAN walks there will be some incredible entertainment, great food and also plenty of drinks available for purchase.

As with all the CLAN walks every effort is made to keep the cost of the walk to a minimum however we do hope that you gain sponsorship to help raise funds for the good cause.
