State Custodians Mortgage Company obtains funding for its home loans primarily from wholesale lender RESIMAC Limited. Established in 1985, RESIMAC has evolved into one of this country’s most respected Non-Bank financiers, having proudly assisted tens of thousands of Australians realise their goals and dreams.
Beginning under the name FANMAC, the company was created to service and securitise residential loans for HomeFund, a NSW government housing programme. Later renamed RESIMAC, it grew to be a leading wholesale lender for residential loans right across Australia. Over the years it has become the compelling alternative to the big banks with its broad range of top featured products and super competitive interest rates.
Australian owned with headquarters in Sydney’s CBD, RESIMAC is supported by key strategic partners including Perpetual Trustees, Deutsche Bank and Barclays PLC.
RESIMAC was the pioneer of Australian Residential Mortgage Backed Securities (RMBS), being the first issuer in 1988. Since then it has issued nearly $12 billion through 18 domestic and international RMBS issues, demonstrating its enduring presence as a leading non-bank issuer in Australia. Some of the recent RMBS transactions took place with support from the Australian Government in the form of an investment mandate awarded by the Australian Office of Financial Management (AOFM).
RESIMAC has attained a residential loan servicer ranking of ‘STRONG’ as assigned by Standard & Poor's. This is their highest ranking category. Standard & Poor's states that it is their “...opinion that a servicer ranked ‘STRONG’ demonstrates a very high degree of ability, efficiency and competence in servicing when compared to other servicers ranked by Standard & Poor's.”
